Despite winning numerous awards for their Bauhaus designed bottles including a recent European Product Design Award and the German Design Award, Berliner Brandstifter have redesigned their iconic bottles after eight years on the market.
From now on, their vodka, gin and kornbrand bottles will be produced exclusively in-house by a glassworks in Lower Saxony. The result is a nobler and more distinctive appearance, with a sharper logo.
A second sticker on the bottom of the bottle states the alcohol volume, bottle size, ingredients and, more importantly, the edition and bottle number, as well as the words "Inspired by great-grandfather Ernst August, Berlin 2009".
The new gin bottles will be available from November 2017 with the Vodka and Kornbrand following in December and January.
